The Sing-Off winner was crowned last night as Nick Lachey hosted the live season 2 finale.
Who was The Sing Off Winner? The Sing-Off Season 2 was quick and I have to admit it was quite an amazing show. While Nick Lachey had his moments as the host, the real pleasure was watching the 10 a cappella groups take the stage. Last night The Sing Off winner was announced and one group walked away with a Sony Music recording contract and $100,000.
In a night filled with amazing performances: Boys II Men and Committed, Nicole Scherzinger and Jerry Lawson & Talk of the Town, Sara Bareilles and The Backbeats and Ben Folds with Street Corner Symphony, NBC went all out with its season 2 finale of The Sing Off. Let’s not forget to mention the Christmas medley which had Nick Lachey grab a mic and get back to his singing roots. (I think he sounded pretty damn good to be honest) as well as a special appearance by Sheryl Crow. Performances aside, we were all tuning in for one thing, to see who The Sing Off winner would be.
As the four groups took the stage, Nick Lachey announced that Jerry Lawson & Talk Of The Town along with The Backbeats had been eliminated. That leaves us with the final two a cappella groups: Street Corner Symphony and Committed. I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I wanted Street Corner Symphony to win but that is not how it went down.
The Sing Off winner is Committed and I honestly think they deserve it 100%. Hell, any one of those 10 a cappella groups that competed deserve it as they are all amazing singers. I can guarantee that we will be seeing a lot more from the groups that performed on The Sing-Off Season 2. In case you missed The Sing Off competition, you can head on over to NBC to watch all of the amazing performances online.
There you have it everyone, The Sing Off Season 2 is now officially over and Committed was crowned the winner. We want to congratulate both Committed and all of the groups on The Sing Off as you were a pleasure to watch.
