Vikings Stadium Collapse The roof of the Minnesota Vikings’ stadium collapsed under a heavy snowstorm on Sunday morning and as a result forcing the team to postponed match-up against the New York Giants to Detroit Monday night.

According to the reports, the NFL considered moving the match to New Orleans, St. Louis and Indianapolis following the collapse.

However, Metrodome officials said that the league the roof wouldn’t be set in time to play Monday or Tuesday. The league had conference with Detroit and Indianapolis and finally certain to hold the game at Ford Field.

The reports said that the problem underway on Saturday morning when Minnesota got strike with a freak snowstorm, with snow falling to about 2 feet in depth. Ultimately the Teflon roof on the Metrodome just could not place the weight.

The Vikings will repayment the cost of tickets

for several fans, who can’t make it to the Detroit game. Those that do will be given main concern seating beside the 50-yard line and the Lions will allocate free general admission tickets starting at 9 am.
